Kate Duncan is a writer, director, and occasional actor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, she spent time in Chicago earning her BFA in Film and Television with a concentration in Screenwriting from DePaul University. 

Before focusing on the behind-the-scenes, Kate started her career in front of the camera acting and creating social media content. She’s worked with companies including Seventeen Magazine, AwesomenessTV, Alba Botanica, and ELF Cosmetics. As an actor, she appeared in DON’T TELL A SOUL acting alongside Fionn Whitehead (DUNKIRK) and Jack Dylan Grazer (IT, SHAZAM!).

Pivoting from the worlds of content creation and acting, Kate is passionate about advocating for artists. She currently works in publicity as an Account Coordinator at imPRint PR. Prior to joining the publicity world, she got her start working for a producer at indie production company Lunacy Productions and later talent management at Inspire Entertainment.

Kate hopes to use her background in management to build a career advocating for artists.
